Well friends, we are in the last full week of October. I can’t believe how the time has flown! It has been a beautiful fall, and we still have more to go. As we head into November, the idea of being thankful becomes more prominent in our minds. We enter the season of gratitude. Gratitude is more than a nice thought. It’s a way of life. I want to make it a point every day to thank my Lord and Savior every day for His saving grace, for what He’s done, and is doing in my life, and the lives of my family and friends. I encourage each of you to do the same. Be truly thankful for what you’ve been blessed with. Family, friends, pets, jobs, houses, cars, etc. This year, my husband, Ron, and I are living in a house owned by our church. It’s not a rental that’s too small for all our stuff, and it’s not my parent’s basement-my old bedroom. It’s big enough for all our stuff. We may not be able to update it a lot, but we can decorate it with what we have. We can have a place of our own, privacy. We have a place to entertain friends and family. We can have our pets live here, too. What a blessing!
We are very excited to host Thanksgiving this year for the first time! The next four weeks will be about our adventure of prepping our house for the big day. I can’t wait to experience it, and share it with you!
Enjoy this last week of October, and get ready to enter the season of gratitude.
