Welcome to November! I can’t believe how fast the time flies! This year, Ron and I will be hosting Thanksgiving for the first time. We now have a home big enough to seat everyone comfortably. In the past, we went to Ron’s parent’s house, my parent’s house, or his brother and sister’in’law’s house. Now it’s our turn. We’re having my parents, my brother and his girlfriend, my grandpa, and our friend, Robert. Ron’s family lives in Ohio, otherwise, they’d be on the guest list, as well.
Each week, I’ll be posting our progress. This week, I’d like to start doing a deep clean. We still have some boxes to unpack from our move, so we need to get crackin’! We’ll need to figure out where we’re going to put the items in those boxes. I would also like to get our turkey, as well as some of the food for our big dinner. I have a few more table decorations to buy, as well.
I have my decorations all up, and my Scentsy warmers going-it smells so nice. My Fall/Thanksgiving theme is pumpkins and owls.
I also love anything Pumpkin Spice!
I am also blessed to have a Dad who worked for the Gas Company. I’m going to have him check the gas fireplace upstairs, and make sure everything’s good to go before we use it. Maybe he can help me clean the furnace, too!
So to recap, We’ll be starting to deep clean, unpack and organize the last of our moving boxes, purchasing the food for our Turkey Dinner, and getting the rest of our table decorations. I’m getting excited to host our first Thanksgiving dinner! Have a great weekend!
