Merry Christmas friends! I can’t believe how fast the time went! I wanted to share with you a fun day spent baking cookies with my mom this past weekend. We were the cookie chics for a day! 😉
First we started with Spritz cookies. Some of the shapes didn’t work out so well. That’s what is so fun about baking-learning together and laughing together.
The ornament shapes worked well.
One of my parent’s cats, Eddie, decided he wanted in on the camera action.
Isn’t he sweet?
More Spritz cookies! the wreath and snowflake cookies didn’t hold up as well.
Here’s my mom. Notice the almost matching aprons?
The trees came out a little better.
Have Spritz “gun” will travel!
Our next cookie to make on the list, was Egg Nog Cutout Cookies. I make them every year
My wonderful Hubby made me new cookie cutters on his 3D Printer. I had fun using them!
Our last cookie was a Pinterest favorite! Peppermint Snowball Cookies.
They require a lot of powdered sugar!
Now what? So many cookies!
Mom and I. We had a fun, productive day, despite a later than planned start, and me forgetting my apron and Spritz cookie gun and disks. Yes, I had to run back home and get them!
Would you like some?
We had a blast being Cookie Chics for a day. Thanks Mom for a wonderful, tasty day! Merry Christmas everyone!
